Murcia airport air traffic control tower Murcia Airport (IATA code: RMU and ICAO code: LEMI), also known as Murcia Corvera Airport, is located in the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, 25 kilometers south of Murcia city, between the towns of Corvera and Valladolises.

The airport is owned by the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia. Its management, operation, maintenance, and conservation are carried out by Aena SME S.A. under a concession contract.

Murcia Airport opened on January 15, 2019, and was built to replace the former Murcia-San Javier Airport, a military base in the same region, which ceased commercial flights with the opening of the new airport in Corvera.

The airport operates from 5:30 am to 8:30 pm in summer, and from 6:30 am to 9:30 pm in winter. It remains closed at night.

Most of its traffic is international, led by the United Kingdom, followed by Norway.
